Welcome to the Members of Local 421 Scramble Golf Tournament! Here you'll find everything you need to know about our terms and conditions. Please review the following information carefully before participating. The Members of Local 421 will be renting out the golf course for a weekend day in April 2026 with the official date to still be determined. The player brackets will be populated and posted on this website and the winners recognised as well.
Tournament format and rules
The tournament follows a 4-person team scramble format. Traditional scramble rules apply. Each player tees off, the team selects the best shot, and all subsequent shots are taken from that spot until the ball is holed. Official Berkeley Country Club scorecards must be used and submitted immediately after the round. USGA rules apply unless otherwise specified by tournament officials.
Entry fees and registration
The entry fee is $150 per person ($600 per 4-person team), including tournament entry, golf cart rental, and eligibility for all prize categories. Tee times can be selected but are not guaranteed and will be announced 5 days before the event (between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM local time).

Prizes and Payouts
1st Place: $1,600, 2nd Place: $1,000, 3rd Place: $600
Closest to the Pin (Par 3 Holes): $100 each (2 holes - $200 total)
Longest Drive: $100
Longest Putt: $100
Cash prizes will be awarded in person at the event. If a winning team is not present, payouts will be made via Cash App or Venmo.
Winning teams who are not present will be contacted via phone or text following the event.
Teams have 2 weeks to respond to the notification of their winnings.
For physical prizes other than cash, winners will be contacted within 3 days following the event.
Physical prizes will be shipped to the winners' provided address within 2 weeks from the contact date
Berkeley Country Club Scorecard
Hole-in-one prize disclaimer
A Scotty Cameron Putter will be awarded for a hole-in-one on the designated par 3 hole. There's no limit to the number of winners for this prize. No cash alternative or exchange is available.
Conduct and Policy
Attendance and Punctuality
Teams must be present and ready to play at their designated tee time.
Failure to arrive on time may result in removal from the tournament without refund, at the discretion of tournament officials.
Conduct and Sportsmanship
Golfers are expected to maintain respectful and orderly conduct throughout the event.
Any behavior resulting in property damage or posing danger to others or course property will not be tolerated.
Violators will be required to leave the event without a refund and will be ineligible for tournament winnings and prizes.
Scoring and Integrity
All team scores must be accurate and submitted on the official Berkeley Country Club scorecard immediately following the round.
Any falsification or dishonesty in scoring will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes or winnings.
Weather Policy and Event Changes
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, the tournament will be rescheduled to a new date.
Teams will be automatically registered for the rescheduled date.
If a team cannot participate on the new date, no refunds will be issued. If the event is canceled and not rescheduled, participants will be issued a credit toward a future Members of Local 421 event, but no cash refunds will be provided.
Refund Policy
All sales are final.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including team withdrawal, scheduling conflicts, or failure to attend.
Media Release
By participating in the Members of Local 421 Scramble Golf Tournament, all players consent to being photographed and filmed during the event.
Media captured may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing content for the Members of
Local 421. Participants waive any rights to review, approve, or receive compensation for the use of these images or recordings.
This consent is perpetual, royalty-free, and applicable worldwide.
Liability and Disclaimer
Participants enter the tournament at their own risk.
The Members of Local 421 and associated event organizers are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.
By participating, all players agree to release Local 421, its staff, sponsors, and Berkeley Country Club from any liability related to the
event.
Amendments and Updates
The Members of Local 421 reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly

abide by these Terms and Conditions.
